Hardest Part of Traveling

Of all my years of traveling the globe to new continents or simply doing a roadtrip to nearby metropolitan cities, I have always ended up with the same conclusion on what the most difficult aspect of the whole process was. It happens to be even before I start packing bags and looking for places to reside in temporarily.
It's just finding time to go on a trip
I currently have multiple places on my list that I wan't to explore before the end of this year, but often times I find myself looking at my calendar with no weekends available to accomplish this feat. Even if I do manage to sneak in a couple days that would potentially work, convincing friends or relatives to join is another dimension that requires equal precision. It can become frustrating to see weekends fly by with no progress being made on your goals, especially for someone, aka me, who enjoys to be always "on the move". However, I am changing this mentality. I have started to begin to plan my work schedule, free time, and friends around my trips. This clear sense of prioritization allows me to maximize my time to the full potential, and honestly, make me feel so alive. This is the time in my life where I know I will have the most amount of flexible time to go to random places and see what's out there in the world. If you are feeling what I am feeling, you are not alone. My advice: Pick a weekend next month where you are set to go somewhere where you have never been before. Once that is set in stone, fit in your work and responsibilities around that and see how much easier it is to add fun adventures to life. Next on my list is Rhode Island!
