My family came into town and I decided to take the backseat and become a tourist in a city I've lived in for three years. It was honestly refreshing and HIGHLY recommend everyone to do so in the future. You begin to learn small details about the city that are overlooked on daily commutes such as buildings and expressions on people's faces. If you visit Philadelphia as a tourist, check out these places down below:

-Reading Terminal Market

It used to be an old train station that is now converted into an amazing melting pot of food and culture. Take a shot of wheat grass at Kamal's if you're feeling adventurous.

-Philadelphia Art Museum

Easily one of the most iconic places in the city and home to one of the most reconizible people in the world. Run up the steps and take a picture with Rocky to imitate the movie scene in the Rocky movie series. At the top, you will see a skyline of Philadelphia and how it replicated the layout of Paris.

-Old City

If you want to feel what it was back one hundred years ago in the states, come here. The buildings and cobblestone roads will give a glimpse into the past. Stop by and see the iconic Liberty Bell through a glass window as well.

-Chinatown

I was not a big fan of this when I first came to the city but it has grown on me. I love this place. Not only can you find late night bubble tea, but the food spots are also a good change of scenery from the cheesesteaks. Experience a different culture!

There are so many more places to check out that I left out of this condensed list. Feel free to contact me to get the best places to eat!
