Have you ever boarded a plane and once you finally begin to feel comfortable, you forgot you left something back home? Yes? JOIN THE CLUB! I have had that experience occur more than frequent so I decided to invest in some useful travel gear. Some of the items listed below aren't necessarily meant for travel, but sometimes you have to make with the best you're given. Here is what I carry when I travel:

Herschel Little America Backpack:

This backpack is my LIFE. Although I use this bag everyday for school, I end up taking it wherever I go due to its versatility. First off, the size of the bag is so big, that I have fit shoes, laptop, camera, and a sweatshirt with plenty of room to spare. There is a compartment for your laptop and is made from a special fur like material to ensure the safety of your device which I thought was neat. Then there is one main space where you can throw all of your equipment in if you are ever in a rush (that's always me). There is also a small pocket towards the bottom where I store my keys and any paper documents, such as boarding pass, that I need. You can also choose different color schemes on the websites to make it fit your style!

MUJI Hanging Travel Toiletry Case

This hands down is the most underrated item that I carry whenever I travel. I have had experiences where I would carry a toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant and it would get lost and dirty within my bag. I wanted an item where I could keep all of them in a single confined place to make life easier. This was the answer. This bag is the size of both of my hands, but has places within the bag for your toothbrush, toothpaste, and so much more. There are four tags where you can slide a toothbrush or a small comb when you first open it to make it a quick grab. There there is a pocket made out of mesh where you can place larger items. like deodorant, where it will stay in place no matter how hard you shake it (I got bored so I tried it). Overall, the material is durable enough to withstand any weather thrown it's way so I would HIGHLY invest in this.

Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones

I have to make a confession. I have had these headphones for 8 years and i'm pretty sure Bose have discontinued it so I found the closest replacement to it. I prefer to have over the ear headphones whenever I travel because the sounds of the plane tend to be louder than the sound in normal in-ear headphones. Flying in a plane is what I love most because not only are you completely disconnected with the world, but you can take a step back and see if you're happy with life. Music helps me feel this way and I wouldn't change anything about it. Looking to upgrade to noise cancelling headphones soon.

10000 Mi Power Bank Portable Charger

The last thing everyone hates is for their phone to be on 1% for 20 minutes and waiting for it to run out. Especially when I have my boarding pass on my phone, a portable charging bank is crucial to carry in order to stay connected. You can find a cheaper alternative elsewhere but I simply fell in love with the design of this. Its sleek with its black outline and lightweight which can easily slide in your pocket. It has a type-c and usb outlet which is convenient if you have multiple devices from different carriers. It can fully charge my phone in about two hours which is about how long my flights are. Even when not traveling, having these in your bag is a necessity.
